We aimed to get gorgeous new pics for her home bakery AND create some super fun images to get people excited about Harleigh's Lemonade. How cool is that for a mother-daughter photoshoot idea? Shot in Germfask, Michigan, this mother-daughter duo brought big dreams, bright colors, and mouthwatering treats to life in a fun, family-centered branding shoot. From cinnamon rolls and cupcakes to vibrant homemade lemonade, we captured all the love, laughter, and small business magic of this Upper Peninsula baker. We set up shop in a super cozy and bright family kitchen in Germfask, Michigan. It felt instantly comfortable and was just the perfect spot for relaxed, real-life food photography. Brianna showed up wonderfully prepared with all sorts of fun props and colorful ingredients – everything we needed to capture the fun of making Harleigh’s famous lemonade drinks, plus the magic of baking her own incredible cupcakes and cinnamon rolls.

How fun was it to capture the magic behind The Cake Lady at 19 Acres! Seriously, watching Brianna, a true pro, whip up gorgeous cupcakes and the most heavenly, majestic cinnamon rolls I've ever laid eyes on was incredible. Capturing the process for her food photography portfolio, showcasing the love that goes into every treat from her business... pure joy! And the best part? She sent me home with a box of goodies and a large strawberry limeade! BEST. JOB. EVER.
Harleigh's Lemonade
Want to know one of my absolute highlights from the session? Watching Harleigh make her signature lemonade! It was SO much fun watching her jump right in to help her mom. She was having a BLAST adding the sugar, pouring the bright syrups, and shaking those drinks like crazy! These pics will be perfect for showing off Harleigh's Lemonade around the Upper Peninsula!

Honestly, this Personal Branding Session was just pure fun from start to finish. I'm so thrilled with the awesome photos we created – stunning images for The Cake Lady at 19 Acres, a fantastic Upper Peninsula small business, and super cute, energetic shots for Harleigh's Lemonade, featuring those delicious cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and handcrafted lemonade. It was all about family, following dreams, and yummy treats right here in Michigan. I seriously CAN'T WAIT to see how Brianna uses these awesome personal branding photos!
