As a Manistique photographer, nothing beats capturing the heart of our local small business community—especially when that business owner has become a treasured friend.
From Candle Making Workshops to Creative Collaboration
My history with Kitt, the founder of Of Curious Nature, actually started as a customer! I first met her at one of her candle making workshops in Manistique. I was so impressed by her candle making passion and was so excited when she later reached out to Whoa, Nelly! for professional product photography.
Since then, our relationship has grown beyond the lens. Kitt is a valued member of our Yooper Gals Small Business Group, where we spend time brainstorming and supporting one another. Being able to capture her candles seasonally has been such a joy, plus I love that I get to be one of the first to smell all her new scents!
The Session: Personal Branding & Spring Product Photography
For this quarter’s session, we focused on two main goals:
Personal Branding in the Workshop: We spent 45 minutes documenting Kitt in her element. These images are perfect for her website and social media to show the "maker behind the brand."
Spring & Year-Round Collections: We captured her signature scents alongside the bright, fresh vibes of her new Spring candles.
