Feral Healing at Booney Bash: Capturing a True Healer in Her Element
It's such an incredible honor to have repeat clients, especially when they are as passionate and inspiring as Jen of The Feral Healing Company. Our last session together took place at her home, where we dove deep into her new brand, The Feral Healing Company. This time, our session took us to the vibrant and energetic Booney Bash in Gullver, Michigan, where Jen was not only sharing her incredible work but also sharing a deep message on the stage.
Jen, a certified Emotion Code practitioner, Reiki Master, and Quantum Alignment coach, is all about helping women find their "deep, gritty, feral healing." She brings an authentic, unapologetic, wild, earthy energy to her practice, and on this scorching hot Upper Peninsula summer day, the music was pumping, and the festival atmosphere was thriving – the perfect energetic setting for capturing Jen in her element.
The Mission
Our goal was to make the most of our time at the event, starting with videoing Jen as she took the stage for a very moving and inspirational speech about how she found feral healing. I had the pleasure of filming her as she delivered her powerful speech, and then we turned our attention to her booth. Jen put so much care into crafting a booth that spoke to her and her brands' energy, she even had miniature tarot cards hanging as bunting. We documented client interactions, capturing the genuine connection and trust she builds with everyone she meets. These little b-roll clips and candid photos are so vital for showing the true heart of a business.
To the Boonies!
Capturing Jen at Booney Bash was a reminder of the passion and dedication she brings to her work. It was a day of high energy, an environment thriving with camaraderie, and authentic connections.
It's truly a joy to document a client as they continue to grow and evolve their business.
Showcasing a New Service
Beside Jen's booth sat a mesh tent. She had posted a photo of it before, so I knew instantly what it was and I was so excited for Jen to show me; her new meditation pod. This amazing little dome allows you to enjoy the outdoors and meditate peacefully, completely undisturbed by bugs. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to document this new special service she will be soon starting, so we used the lush festival ground's greenery as our backdrop to capture imagery of her using the pod. It will be a fantastic new offering that aligns perfectly with her brand's mission of connecting with nature and finding inner peace. I can't wait for you all to find out more about it! I'm not gonna spoil what her plans are for these pods, so be sure to follow her to learn more!
